How to Download, Install and Activate your SketchUp Subscription License

Firstly, thank you for implementing SketchUp in your Design Workflow Process. The iRender Team look forward to adding value to your practice and in so doing, build a mutually beneficial and rewarding business relationship in the months ahead.

Manage your Account

iRender have received your Proof of Payment, and have processed your SketchUp Subscription Order.

You will shortly receive an eMail communication directly from Trimble Inc inviting you to "Manage Your Account" as shown in the example below.

(Be sure to check your Spam Folder if you do not receive the above eMail.)


Create your Personal Trimble ID

Access to your SketchUp Subscription License is managed via your Personal Trimble ID which you will now be required to create. In so doing, it is imperative that you use the same eMail Address that you furnished iRender with when processing your Order. Failure to do so will set the status of your Subscription License to "Trail Mode", and you will NOT be successful in Activating your SketchUp Subscription license.

Login to your Personal Trimble ID

Select "Manage Your Account" and enter your Trimble ID. You will now be directed to the following similar URL where you should select the option "My Products". 


Download SketchUp Pro 2021

This will open up your Dashboard similar to the one below which will list the various Modules you are authorised to use in accordance with the SketchUp product that you have purchased, i.e either SketchUp Pro or SketchUp Studio.

Select the SketchUp Pro Download button. You will also be able to launch other Modules that you are authorised to use from this Dashboard.

SketchUp Mobile Viewer iOS (AR/VR)

3D Warehouse

SketchUp for Web

Installing SketchUp Pro 2021 Subscription

Once you have downloaded the SketchUp Pro 2021 Installation File, first CLOSE any current Active SketchUp Sessions you may have running if previously installed, and then proceed to Install the SketchUp Pro 2021 Application. 

We suggest that you preview the appropriate Installation Video below to successfully guide you through the installation process. 


If you are running SketchUp on a Windows Operating System, then please "Right Click" on the SketchUp Icon when installing, and select the option "Run As Administrator". Failure to do so may result in your license NOT being Activated.
